The primary step while building a website is designing. Your website is one of the most important aspects of your brand’s online presence and you must design it right. It is also the place where you nurture your leads to get conversions. So, you can’t afford any website fails that might cause your prospects to bounce off your website.

This design has to be spot on. A good design attracts a lot of customers. When you make a design that is appealing to the user’s eyes, it makes them stay longer at the website. You may have a great project or offer a great service, but it all goes in vain without taking it to the customers. A bad design is one such thing. You can offer a great service, but without a convincing design, the customer will not be attracted. This is why many firms, have a team specially for design. One must take into consideration, the company’s target audience to get an appropriate design.

The next step is development. A good design without proper development is pointless. For example, let us assume someone is entering a website to read about something. If that page takes a lot of time to load, they would usually leave the site and look for other alternative options. So the development team needs to make sure that the user experience on the site is good. This is just one such example.

Having talked about the need for good design and development, the benefits they yield are the following.

Brand Image:

Your website is something that stands for your brand. It is going to be your marketer 24/7. It sets the first impression. All of your website’s contents like the descriptions, fonts, colors, etc. sets either a good/bad impression for the customer over your brand.

Search Engine Optimization:

You cannot afford to mess with your SEO. SEO is nothing but the process of increasing your site’s visibility when people search for it. This again depends upon your website development. If your design and development process is not up to the mark, you will have an uphill task to get your site visible in search engines.

Increase customer acquisition and loyalty:

The more your design and development is, the more your chances of acquiring and retaining a customer. As long you provide the user a good experience, they won’t need to leave your site to attend another site.

Maximize revenue generation:

A website is a place where you can convert the viewers into your customers. This cannot be possibly without a good UI/UX. Also, a good website attracts a lot of users which in turn can be used in your favor to run ads and generate income.

Reduce troubleshooting costs:

A well-developed site need not require troubleshooting errors most of the time. Thereby, reducing the troubleshooting costs. Ensuring that the user design of your platform is done effectively and efficiently will help avoid any potential headaches in the future.

Your competitors do:

If you don’t feel the above reasons to be satisfying, then take the fact that you competitors have a well-developed and designed website. You wouldn’t want to besides your competitors in any sense. So it is always better to have the best design as well as a good development process.
